Newsfire - Daily News for your Website
We have teamed up with one of the top news agencies in the UK to develop our Newsfire newsfeed service.
Having daily updated news on your website has several benefits:
- Brand new, unique and sector specific content for your audience that will encourage 'stickiness' - longer visits and more repeated visits to your site.
- Content that is updated on a daily basis encourages search engine spiders to return to your site more frequently and consequently regard your content as being more authoritative, giving you a higher search engine ranking.
- As a news publisher, you can syndicate your stories through agency sites and have links to your stories appearing on many other sites, again increasing traffic to your site and link popularity.
- Your news can be delivered via RSS feed, meaning that your audience will see new headlines linking back to your site from their iGoogle or myYahoo homepage.
What does Newsfire cost?
To create unique, relevant and engaging content for your website every day costs £25+VAT per article. The news is written by professional journalists and each article includes a picture.
The cost includes the cost of integrating the feeds into your website.
Can I see an example?
Newsfire has been implemented on places2stay.co.uk one of the country's leading tourism and travel portals.
Can I create my own news?
You can submit your press releases to the journalists who will write up the story as a news piece for you.
Alternatively, you can write all of your own news. To do this, we will create the same infrastructure on your website along with a screen that allows you to create your own articles. Once written, they will be added to your news archive and syndicated as described above.
The cost of the news infrastructure on its own will be between £1500 + VAT and £2500 + VAT depending on the current design and setup of your website.
Are there any additional costs?
Once your website is set up to handle and syndicate news, there are no ongoing costs other than the cost of the articles.
