Farmore IT backs Polio Plus
The Farmore IT team have just completed the design and development of the 2008 World Record Golf website. This Year’s World Record Golf day is being organised by Rotary District 1230 in aid of Rotary International’s Polio Eradication Project and will take place on the 22nd of June 2008 at the impressive Dundonald Links course.
The current world record was set in China in 2007 and stands at 623, so the task in hand will be tough. But through the determination by all involved, it’s more than hopeful they can bring the record back to Scotland.
After initially building the 2005 World Record Golf website, Farmore have taken the reigns again for the 2008 outing. The site has been given a fresh makeover and is designed to current web usability standards. Farmore IT has also added in the successful Newsfire function to allow the team at World Record Golf to add news to the site and therefore increase its exposure.
The World Record Golf website is the 2nd Charity website developed by Farmore IT in as many months, with Scoot To Africa being the other one. Both were of course developed all in the good name of charity.
Farmore IT would like to wish all of those taking part the best of luck in their attempt to set a new world record and to raise funds and awareness for Polio Plus.
