Stirling Hogmanay Party Heading For Sell-Out
Stirling stages one of the finest Hogmanay celebrations in Scotland and every year the brimming crowds enjoy the family friendly mood, the great live music and the terrific firework finale.
And with around 80 per cent of tickets already sold for this years Hogmanay concert at Stirling Castle, it seems partygoers are eagerly anticipating another night to remember. The Proclaimers, currently on a sell-out tour of Scotland, will headline the end of the year party.
The boys are already excited about the event at Stirling Castle and confide that they can’t think of a more dramatic setting for a gig in Scotland. After The Proclaimers have warmed the crowd up, then a breathtaking fireworks display will take the folks of Stirling into the New Year.
"We’ve got a great Hogmanay show planned and can guarantee it’ll be the most breathtaking firework display to see in the New Year. Stirling Castle and Esplanade is one of the best locations in Scotland and I’m sure the best location in the whole of the UK for Hogmanay celebrations. Stirling is once again the place to be at Hogmanay" said Provost Margaret Brisley of Stirling Council.
Tickets for the event cost £25 and family tickets (2 Adults & 2 Children under 16) can be purchased for £80. The event may not be suitable for very young children and the organisers insist that under 15’s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available from SECxtra (08700 132652), the Tolbooth (01786 247000), the Macrobert Arts Centre (01786 466666) or the Albert Halls Booking Office (01786 473544).
People who have already purchased tickets should be advised to dress for winter weather and to remember that any refreshments should be contained in plastic bottles only.
