Google Dominates Search Results
Google were responsible for carrying out a staggering 37 billion searchers from web users all over the world in August, according to a report by analyst’s comScore.
The study revealed that Google carried out more than all the other major search engines combined in the month of August, where over 750 million users performed over 61 billion search requests.
Unsurprisingly, Yahoo was the 2nd most used search engine, beating Baidu, a Chinese language search engine, who settled for 3rd spot.
However, the majority of the searches were carried out in Asia, followed by Europe then North America. The more developing countries across the middle-east and Africa region amounted to a mere 30million searches in the month.
