How does it work:

We carry out an IT survey to get an overall view of your IT setup and advise on possible improvements such as:

• better use of shared resources
• improve network speed
• identify security weaknesses
• improve disaster recovery

We will also highlight areas where the system would benefit from upgrades – new PCs, network routers, cabling etc and also which PCs could be supported under our Fixed IT plan.

We can also look at those irritating IT issues that you just put up with, e.g. sending faxes directly from your PC, sharing printers etc. – no guarantees that they will be fixed but we should at least get to the bottom of the problem.

Initial survey cost: £100+VAT per day (normally 1 day for up to 10 PCs)

2. We will install software on each PC that allows it to communicate with our server and report any issues. We monitor the health of each machine and perform maintenance as required. You will receive a report each month so that you can see what we have done.

In the event of a problem, you phone our support desk and we will, if possible, take remote control of the PC and assess the issue. Faults will normally be diagnosed straight away, however the length of time it takes to fix will depend on the nature of the fault. Where a fix is not immediately possible we will attempt to create a practical solution to keep you working in the mean time. In some cases we may need to download and install software to fix the problem, order hardware or send out an engineer. These cases will clearly take longer, however we will endeavour to fix the problem as soon as practical.

In the event that the problem has been caused by third party software that has been installed, we will not attempt to fix any software other that the operating system (Windows) or software that we have specifically installed or recommended.

Where replacement parts are required, we will order and install these parts and charge you only for the parts themselves. The costs of the call-out and labour are included in the fixed monthly price.
